Our Texas Oncology program was set up in 2013 as a subset team of HOPE Austin.
Note: To be in Texas Oncology, you must be an active HOPE Austin member. See membership requirements here.
Members of Texas Oncology go into BCRC's Infusion Rooms, where cancer patients will be receiving chemotherapy treatment, and act as a secondary caretaker to patients. They interact with and support patients through their presence and assistance.
Volunteering with the Texas Oncology program is coordinated through our Texas Oncology/BCRC Co-Chair, Brandi Monene.
