HOPE Austin is a service organization that volunteers with health-related causes and events around the Austin community. Our events are diverse in the activities we help with, the people we encounter, and the causes we support. Texas Oncology
HOPE Austin members have the opportunity to apply for our Texas Oncology program with Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin. This program gives members the opportunity to volunteer weekly in a chemotherapy infusion room helping out with general tasks. These tasks center around alleviating the discomfort of the chemotherapy patients. (Please note that no medical work done during volunteering.)

Care Teams
HOPE Austin members can apply for our group, Care Teams, that partners with University Medical Center (UMC) Brackenridge for nurse appreciation efforts. The team works to do a monthly project, making food, crafts, or other, to present to the nurse staff at UMC Brackenridge.
